Report
For over 30 years, Oleificio Zucchi has continued to invest heavily in innovation and plant upgrades, as well as working to provide real guarantees not only of the quality and healthiness of its products, but also of the social and environmental sustainability of its business , continuing a tradition in which the company’s guiding values are responsibility and transparency.
These same values inspire our daily work at Oleificio Zucchi, confirming their status as an integral part of the company’s management and decision-making processes, as well as representing the milestones of a roadmap that is as ambitious as it is essential: the implementation of our improvement plan consistently with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a Resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 25 September 2015).
Consistently with these objectives and its production chain, Oleificio Zucchi is working to strengthen the following global goals BY 2030:
improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for everyone at all ages
promote gender equality and eliminate all forms of discrimination

ensure that products are safe, assess the social and environmental impact of production processes and products throughout their life cycle, promote the circular economy and the efficient use of resources

strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
Oleificio Zucchi has published its Sustainability Report since 2005, with a view to sharing its sustainable development policies with internal and external stakeholders, as well as becoming a case study for the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. In 2016, it adopted the GRI guidelines, version G4, Comprehensive option. This report describes the steps taken to achieve the sustainability goals set out in the 2030 Agenda.
For Oleificio Zucchi, the Sustainability Report is the main tool used to report on the company’s activities and results at economic, environmental and social level, as well as a key source of information and dialogue with stakeholders.
